Unite! Washougal

The UNITE! Washougal Community Coalition is a grassroots coalition built by motivated and enthusiastic community members. Our mission is “Building a community that is connected and involved, empowered by healthy choices and strong families.”

Unite! is data informed and solution focused using evidence based strategies to drive change. Our strategies include: Club Unite! to build skills and community connection at the Middle Schools, Drug Take Back, Guiding Good Choices Parenting Class, Sources of Strength Suicide Prevention, Washougal High School Ambassador Program, Thrive Youth Prevention Program, Youth Leadership and Advocacy, Positive Community Norms, Beautification, Community Outreach, and Youth Leadership Development. We believe connection is the best prevention! We are better when we work together!

Prevention is the opportunity to use upstream thinking to make changes that reduce the risk factors and increase the protective factors that help support healthy youth, families and community.

Unite! Washougal Community Coalition is a collaborative effort of all parts of our community working together to build a place where youth and families can thrive. Together, we work towards positive community change for substance misuse prevention, mental health advocacy and resiliency skill building.
