When that final school bell rings, every parent wants the same thing: to know their child is somewhere safe, cared for, and excited to be there.
At Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington's Outreach Program, that's exactly what you'll find. Kids leading a group game, dreaming up their next big art project, asking "why" until they truly understand a tricky math problem, or learning a new magic trick!
They're kids who explore new interests. Kids who move and play and laugh with friends. Kids who feel safe and supported by staff who know their name, celebrate their wins, and are there on the hard days too.
But not every kid in Clark County has this. For too many, that safe, supportive place after school isn't guaranteed — and that's where you come in.
As the school year begins, I'm raising $2,000 so more kids in our community can walk through our doors and become Club Kids too — kids who lead, dream, explore, and grow, surrounded by people who believe in them.
