Atlas Montessori High School

Atlas Montessori High School is an innovative, grassroots effort to bring the transformative power of Montessori education to teens in Vancouver, Washington. With only about 150 Montessori high schools nationwide—and no secular small high school option currently available in Vancouver—local parents and educators are coming together to change that. Atlas is being designed as the region’s first private, secular Montessori high school, offering hands-on, real-world learning in a nurturing, student-centered environment.

Because no two students are alike, Atlas will prioritize small class sizes and personalized learning paths to help each teen thrive. Our mission is to empower young people to become capable, curious, and compassionate leaders. As a nonprofit in the planning and fundraising phase, we rely on community support to open our doors and bridge the initial funding gap. Long-term, we aim to offer tuition support and scholarships so more families in Vancouver can access this unique small school option.
