CJAC's mission is to serve children and families affected by child abuse and to provide a collaborative and compassionate community response.
Every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and supported.
The Children's Justice & Advocacy Center (CJAC) serves children and families in Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties who have experienced abuse, neglect, or violence. Through forensic interviews, family advocacy, referrals for medical care and therapy, and collaboration with law enforcement, DCYF, medical professionals, and prosecutors, we help children begin the path toward healing while reducing the trauma of telling their story multiple times.
Your Give More 24 donation helps ensure these services remain available at no cost to the children and families who need them most.
Every gift makes a difference by helping provide:
Trauma-informed advocacy for children and caregivers
Crisis intervention and safety planning
Basic needs assistance for families in crisis
Prevention education that empowers youth and caregivers
Resources that support healing long after the investigation ends
When a child walks through our doors, they deserve compassion, dignity, and hope—not additional barriers.
Together, we can ensure every child has someone who believes them, supports them, and walks beside them throughout their journey.
Thank you for investing in safer children, stronger families, and a healthier community.
