About EOCF

Our mission is to connect, empower, and transform the lives of children and families. Since 1967, Educational Opportunities for Children & Families (EOCF) has been providing comprehensive early childhood education and family support programs in Southwest Washington. Every year, our services reach more than 1,000 children and families across Clark County, Long Beach in Pacific County, and the Woodland portion of Cowlitz County. Our offerings include essential childcare, Pre-K education, nutrition, health, dental, mental wellness, and family support services.

Because our GiveMore24! campaign is completely focused on launching the new EOCF Garden this year, your monetary gifts will directly supply our outdoor classroom with the essential resources it needs to thrive. Your generosity empowers our scholars by:  

• Nurturing Life from Seed to Harvest: Supplying native plants, fruit trees, gardening soil, rain barrels, and supplies for hands-on learning.  

• Building the Foundation: Funding essential materials like cedar lumber, fencing, and landscaping materials to create a safe, vibrant growing space.  

• Creating Gathering Spaces: Providing picnic tables, outdoor learning canopies, event shade, and interactive play structures for community and classroom use.  

• Enhancing Education: Supplying compost bins, irrigation supplies, and gardening tools that allow children to experience the seed-to-table lifecycle directly.  

• Supporting the Whole Family: Empowering our community through continued comprehensive early learning, field trips, and family support services.
