The Empowering People & Impacting Community (EPIC) Coalition is a nonprofit organization comprised of local volunteers dedicated to the mission of 'supporting youth and families in building a safe, healthy, and drug-free lifestyle.'
Substance abuse erodes the health and safety of our community. Child abuse and neglect, unemployment, poverty, crime, violence, avoidable medical care, homelessness, and overdoses are some of the devastating effects we have seen in our area. This is why effective prevention services are vital for our community.
We believe 'LOCAL PROBLEMS, REQUIRE LOCAL SOLUTIONS and with the help from our community, we work to create sustainable, healthy changes by investing in prevention strategies and programs that lead to the best possible outcomes.
