We’re not just making theatre. We’re starting conversations, building community, and changing lives.

Ekklesia Theatre is Vancouver’s faith-driven, community-powered theatre company with a mission: to create powerful, thought-provoking productions that stir the soul and reflect the beauty and truth of God’s story.

We’re the only faith-based theatre for adults in Southwest Washington and the Portland metro, and we do things a little differently:

• Every ticket helps someone else attend. Through our Pay-It-Forward model, we remove financial barriers so anyone can experience the magic of live theatre with dignity.

• Every show partners with a local nonprofit. Because the stories we tell should make a difference offstage too.

• Every artist gets paid. Because honoring God-given talent means more than saying “great exposure.”

Our 2025–2026 season is themed “Every Life Has Value” — a powerful reminder in a divided world. We’ll be partnering with three local organizations fighting on the frontlines of food insecurity, mental health, and restorative justice, because we believe theatre shouldn't just entertain.

Our shows don’t preach. They provoke. They’re honest. They’re human. 

And they always invite you to wrestle with something deeper, together.
