Humane Society for Southwest Washington

Each year, more than 10,000 pets in our community receive care at HSSW. With campuses in Vancouver and Longview, we provide shelter for lost and stray pets, refuge from abuse and neglect, essential medical care, and a second chance for a happy home. With campuses in Vancouver and Longview, HSSW is a lifesaving pathway for animals, serving more than 10,000 pets each year.

Through our community medicine program, we provide subsidized, high quality veterinary care for the pets of income qualified families in Clark, Cowlitz, and Skamania Counties. Our Community Veterinary Clinic and Mobile Veterinary Clinics help ensure pets in our community are healthy and keep people and pets together where they belong. 

And our commitment to the pets and people of Southwest Washington extends beyond the shelter, providing critical support to pets and families with Wellness Clinics, pet food assistance, spay/neuter, emergency boarding, financial assistance, and other programs that help keep families together.
