Our agency began in 1999 with a group of local attorneys who wanted to give back to the Community using their unique and specialized skills. Licensed attorneys and caring case managers assist with legal advice, legal forms, resources and instructions at no charge for our low-income clients. 

Mission: 

Timberland Legal Aid is committed to securing justice in the civil courts for underserved individuals whose livelihoods, families, and well-being are at risk. We advance this mission through legal education, client advocacy, and active community engagement.

We envision a community where everyone, regardless of income, has access to skilled legal representation, ensuring fairness and equal justice through the court system.

Your donation of $5 or more is matched with $3000 of matching funds sponsored by some of our Board members and Friends:  Ed Putka, Alexis Lucken, Max Lee, Lori Sarancik, and Watson and Jane.

This means that every dollar you give is doubled for our first $3000 in donations for the Give More 24! event.

Help us reach our goal of $10,000 for this campaign which will help us provide ongoing important legal assistance to our clients throughout the areas we serve: Cowlitz, Wahkiakum, Lewis, Pacific and Clark Counties.

Would you like to participate in our Matching Grant Program?  If so, reach out to Info@TimberlandLA.org. We welcome your support in this way because more people learn about our work and show up to support our team.

Donations of Volunteer Lawyer Time are also highly valued and welcome during this campaign.  Are you an attorney, licensed in Washington State and able to donate time for a consultation on a civil legal issue (or a Limited License Legal Technician)?  We have a variety of clients who need help and we are happy to coordinate a phone or zoom consultation.  Let us know what type of cases you are interested in.
