The Music Teachers Association of Clark County (MTACC), founded in 1931, is the local Clark County chapter of the Washington State Music Teachers Association (WSMTA) and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).

MTACC supports ongoing professional training and support for independent and collegiate music educators. Our teachers dedicate themselves to the continual development and enrichment of our Clark County music students, as well as offer regular performance and education opportunities for teachers, students, and the community.

For many years, our organization has been proud to invest in the future of young musicians, contributing nearly $25,0000 to help students pursue their musical goals and dreams at the collegiate level. This year, we are expanding our vision and our scholarship reach to make an even greater impact on the lives of students throughout Clark County.

We believe that every talented and motivated student should have the opportunity to pursue music, regardless of financial circumstances. For some students, the cost of private music instruction may place that opportunity beyond their reach. For others, expenses such as accompanist fees and event registration costs can prevent talented singers and instrumentalists from participating in important musical experiences. We also want to recognize students who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and achievement and help provide opportunities for them to continue their musical journeys at local, regional, and national levels.

Your support can help remove financial barriers and open doors for deserving young musicians. A scholarship may provide lessons for a student who otherwise could not afford them, or allow a talented musician to participate in a competition or performance, or give a student the encouragement and recognition needed to continue pursuing an important dream.

Together, we can expand access to music education and create meaningful opportunities for more young people in our community. Your generosity will directly invest in the talent, dedication, and dreams of Clark County students—and may help shape the future of a young musician in ways that will last a lifetime.

Thank you for believing in these students and for helping us make their musical dreams possible.
