Restoring Homeless Families in Clark County and Southwest Washington

For more than four decades, Open House Ministries has been helping families experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives with hope, dignity, and purpose. Every family's journey is different, but each story reminds us that lasting transformation is possible when people are surrounded by compassion, encouragement, and practical support.

Audrey's story is a powerful example of that transformation. We invite you to hear, in her own words, how hope found her and how lives continue to change every day at Open House Ministries.

More than a Shelter

At Open House Ministries, families receive more than shelter, they gain the support, skills, and opportunities needed to build a stable future. Residents work alongside case managers to set goals, develop healthy life skills, strengthen family relationships, and address the challenges that contributed to homelessness.

Through hands-on vocational training at Revival House Thrift Store, The House Coffee Shop, and The Wheel House Bicycle Shop, residents gain valuable work experience, build confidence, develop customer service and job readiness skills, and strengthen their résumés with current employment experience. Families also give back by volunteering throughout our campus, helping care for the community they call home while learning the value of service and responsibility.

Your generosity makes this possible. Every gift helps provide safe shelter, life-changing support, vocational training, and opportunities for families to rebuild their lives with hope, dignity, and purpose.

See Hope in Action

The best way to experience the impact of Open House Ministries is to see it for yourself. We invite you to join us for one of our Tours & Talks, where you'll learn more about our mission, meet the people behind the ministry, explore our campus, and discover the many ways you can make a difference.

If you've been inspired by the stories you've read today, one of the most meaningful ways to help is by participating in GiveMore24! Your generosity provides hope, stability, and opportunities for families experiencing homelessness while helping ensure that more families can begin their own journey toward a brighter future.
