The Return of the Birds: A Star Wars–Inspired Quest for Nature

Before Osprey Sky Walker ever felt the pull of the Force, he knew the land. The marshes, the meadows, the wild skies above Ridgefield were his first teachers.

Now, the galaxy faces a new challenge: keeping wild places wild, and ensuring everyone has access to the wonders of nature. This is our rebellion against apathy. Our stand against extinction.

This Give More 24!, join the Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge as we rally with allies from across the stars:

  • General Leia Organic reminds us: “Preserving wildlife and community spaces is a form of rebellion.”

  • Master Owl-da counsels: “In wild places, truth you will find. Support them, you must.”

  • And Osprey Sky Walker soars overhead to declare: “From hatchling to Grand Raptor, nature belongs to everyone.”

Your mission is clear:

  • Help build the Nature Exploration Area, where younglings and padawans alike can connect to the wild.

  • Fund access for all, so no one is left out of the adventure.

  • Support the team keeping this corner of the galaxy vibrant and full of life.

You don’t need Jedi training to make an impact — just a kind heart and a gift on September 9–25 during Give More 24!Together, we will protect what matters most… and ensure the birds return to our skies.

May the Forest — and the Force — be with you.
