The Refuge needs our help. We're how you give it.
Somewhere along the Columbia, hundreds of bird species and migratory waterfowl find refuge in a place that can't protect itself. It takes people who show up for it — season after season, generation after generation. That's the work we show up for, year after year.
We speak up for the Refuge in rooms where its future gets decided. We teach the next visitor, and the one after that, how to actually care for this place — not just pass through it. We walk kids through the wetlands until it becomes theirs too. And we hold the door open for neighbors who haven't found their way here yet.
None of that comes from federal funding. It comes from people like you.
This September 24, join us for Give More 24! — help us reach our goal of $20,000 to keep this stewardship going, for the birds and the people who need this place.
Mark your calendar. The countdown starts soon.
