About Us

For over 16 years the Watershed Alliance of Southwest Washington has been empowering community members to protect and restore Southwest Washington’s waterways and natural areas.

These waterways and natural areas are incredibly important to wildlife, community recreation, and climate resilience. Protecting and preserving them has never been more important.

We Need Your Help

We are in unprecedented times, and budgets are being cut across Clark County, including for the Backyard Habitat Certification Program, which provides support and incentives for people who seek to restore native habitat in their own backyards. BHCP is a project of Columbia Land Trust and Bird Alliance of Oregon, with the program being facilitated in Clark County by the Watershed Alliance.

All Give More 24 donations this year will go directly to support this program.

In 2024, we conducted 214 site visits that resulted in 53 certifications around Clark County! With your support, in 2026 this program can continue to offer certification opportunities to the community and create habitat for our local wildlife.

Every donation helps us reach our goal!
