At MadDog Gourmet, being a local business means being part of the community—and helping make that community a better place.

MadDog Gourmet is an independent, locally owned Vancouver small business that opened in 2015 with a simple philosophy: Ingredients Matter. What started with reimagining the classic American hot dog has grown into a catering business serving up craveable comfort food for weddings, birthdays, office parties, family gatherings, community events, and celebrations throughout our area.

But good food has always been only part of the MadDog story.

We believe local businesses have a responsibility to engage with and support the communities that support them. Over the years, that has meant giving back to organizations serving the hungry and homeless, local schools, sports organizations, dog parks, and other causes that make Southwest Washington a better place to live.

Because at the end of the day, we are better together.

Parks bring people together in many of the same ways food does.

They're where families gather for birthday parties and picnics. They're where kids discover a sport they love. They're where neighbors meet, dogs get to run, friends reconnect, and people of all ages have an opportunity to get outside and be active.

Our parks, trails, playgrounds, sports fields, and recreation programs are part of the fabric of our community—and we want to help make sure those opportunities continue to be available to everyone.

Through Give More 24, we're raising money for the Parks Foundation of Clark County and inviting our customers, friends, fellow small businesses, and community members to join us.

Your donation helps the Parks Foundation support parks and recreation throughout Clark County, including projects and programs that create more opportunities for people to get outside, be active, connect with one another, and enjoy the community we all call home.

And during Give More 24, your support can go even further. The Parks Foundation is working to maximize a $10,000 matching gift from the Firstenburg Foundation, making this a great time to give.

For us, this campaign isn't just about raising money. It's about local people and local businesses coming together to invest in the place where we live.
