Why Columbia Dance Matters
Columbia Dance is more than a dance school. For over 36 years, it’s been a vibrant hub of education, empowerment, and community-building. Here's why we’re committed:
- We awarded $45,000 in financial aid this past year alone.
- Over 200 children participate in weekly classes across all ages.
- Our INCLUDE classes offer inclusive, accessible dance opportunities for 25 children with varying abilities.
- At Orchards Elementary School, a Title I school, 100 children benefit from our outreach.
- Through our Nutcracker curriculum, we reach 1,500 third graders in Vancouver Public Schools—every child is bused to a live performance at no cost to them.
