This year, 2,131 Clark College graduates achieved their dreams.

For one proud graduate, Veronica Bustillos, that stage was a place she once couldn’t imagine. After arriving in the United States as a homeless 10-year-old, college felt like an impossible dream. Life brought challenges, but also her greatest motivation—her four children—who inspired her to keep going. On graduation day, she stood tall as a first-generation graduate, proudly wearing honors cords she never thought she’d earn. After completing her bachelor’s degree in human services at Clark College, Veronica earned a full-ride scholarship to PSU for a master’s degree in social work. Now, she’s ready to help others in our community transform their lives, just as she transformed hers.

Clark College students like Veronica are driven by perseverance and strengthened by the generosity of our community. Your gift to Clark College Foundation helps provide scholarships, emergency grants, program enhancements, and vital campus services—empowering students to stay in school, graduate, and achieve their goals.

Double your impact this Give More 24! Gifts up to $250 will be matched—up to $1,500 thanks to the Swatosh Family Fund and other anonymous donors.
