Longview Downtowners

Who are we?

The Longview Downtowners is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit business and community association dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and development of downtown Longview. Initiatives include revitalization through beautification, tourism, event creation, business assistance, and investment recruitment.

Mission

We aim to build a strong membership, diverse economic base, and an inviting atmosphere in downtown Longview while marketing the area's historic charm and unique assets. 

Vision

Have every storefront filled with successful stores, restaurants, entertainment options and services. Create the feeling of safety. Be clean and inviting, with buildings well maintained. Have visual continuity with paint colors and building signs. Promote historical and artistic aspects to attract out-of-town visitors.* These visions coincide with the city of Longview's last strategic study of downtown.

Membership

Members include downtown business owners, property owners, community members, and other special interest groups. Membership dues are reinvested in events and basic overhead costs such as insurance, marketing, and working towards paid staffing. Annual dues are $250. Members can contribute more for specific projects.
